Life Lately (iPhone edition)

I used to carry my camera with me all of the time.  Until I got my new iPhone and now I carry that with me all of the time :)  So I end up taking lots of pictures with my phone.

The original title of this post was "Little Moments".  But after adding all the photos and videos, I realized they were not so little after all.  It's moments like these that make life BIG!

The other day, I caught Katelyn praying (while on the potty) for the first time.  Not sure what she's praying for, but I got the AMEN!

First Day of Preschool (2s)

Katelyn started preschool today!  She was so excited!  She did ask about her MMO teachers this morning, but then remembered her new teachers and was ok.  

 It was a little weird to drop her off without big brother, but she didn't seem to mind.  (She likes to sit in his seat in carpool since she has to get out on that side.)

 Her teachers said she had a great day without any tears!  Not really surprised about that though.  I don't think she has shed a tear in that place.

Her biggest accomplishment of the day?  She TALKED to her teachers ON.THE.FIRST.DAY!  They said she was quiet for about the first hour and then she told them that she 1)needed to go potty and 2)wanted an M&M for going potty!  I see her blossoming and think it's going to be a great year!

So thankful to know she is in good hands and I never have to worry about her when I'm at work!

Can't Hardly Wait

Katelyn is literally counting down the days until she goes back to school.  (Have I mentioned how thankful and excited I am that she LOVES school and that she has teachers that totally LOVE her too?)  After big brother started Kindergarten, she got to go to "summer camp" 3 days a week for 2 weeks.  She was so excited!

This week, she has been asking to go back, but since camp is over, she has been spending her time doing other things.  Like spending a little quality time with Rylee...

 And helping brother practice for karate...

Thursday, she had preschool open house.  She was so excited to see Ms. April and Ms. Melanie's room and play with the baby dolls, cars, and puzzles.  I know she will really miss Ms. Rachel and Ms. Eryn, but she seems to be taking to her new teachers quite well.  Maybe she will actually talk to them this year!  She was also super excited to see the music teacher, Ms. Janna, and can't wait to go to chapel with Ms. Dayna!

So incredibly thankful and blessed that I am able to send her somewhere she is this excited about!
