"Take a picture of this."

Katelyn's new favorite game. LOVE this girl.  Even at 7 am when I have to "take a picture of this."

Kindercamp

I hope I can get some better pictures on the actual first day of kindergarten :)  Between Collin's goofy smile he does now for pictures and the sun shining in his eyes, we had a rough time.  But hopefully you can see his excitement for the first day of kindercamp!  This week he gets to go to "kindergarten" at his new school for a couple of hours a day.  I think it's going to really help with those first few days of school.  Last night he was up late with a tummy ache.  I think he was anxious and excited.  So now maybe we got that over with and he'll be ready to go on the first day of school! (And maybe I will be too).

I was so proud of him when I dropped him off in carpool.  I'm sure he was a little nervous, but it didn't show at all!

When I picked him up he said he loved it and couldn't tell me anything he didn't like about his new school.  He was also excited to see an old friend from preschool and even one from the daycare he used to attend.

Ready or not, Kindergarten, here he comes! (but just give me a couple more weeks to get myself ready).

Lazy Days of Summer

We've been lazy this summer.

I haven't pulled out my camera in 2 whole months.  But since I dropped and cracked my phone last month, I've had my favorite new phone with me at all times to capture some of our fun!

Daddy installed some misters on our back deck.  It seriously drops the temperature by about 20 degrees and the kids love them too!

Favorite kind of bath...bubbles.  (Unless you throw in the deck baths we've had a few times.)

We had a relaxing 4th of July at home.  My favorite part of the day was when Collin said  "Fireworks day is the best day of my LIFE!"

Painting with ice (thanks Pinterest!)

The "fire games" were a little loud for her.
I've tried to keep them busy in the stormy weather we've been having here.
This was in our kitchen.  Not part of the fun.
We celebrated National Ice Cream Day with ice cream for dinner!

We went to the spray park with Kelli, Carter, and Campbell!

And Katelyn FINALLY figured out Wii bowling!

Now we're buying school supplies and shoes, but hoping to sneak in a bit more fun in the next few weeks!
