Vegas January 2012
Mike and I travel to Vegas often for work and/or fun. Each time, we try to do or see something that we haven't before. This time a couple of things happened. First of all, Mike won the Rising Star Retailer Award for Georgia. As a result, we had to attend a breakfast at 8 am on Thursday morning. My alarm went off at 6:30 in the morning IN VEGAS. That has NEVER happened.
Our plan this time was also to visit the pawn shop from the show Pawn Stars. But when we got there, the line was super long and it was a little chilly. So we told the taxi driver to just keep going towards downtown (old) Vegas. We hadn't been there on our last trip so figured we would eat lunch there. When we got there, the street was blocked off and we soon learned they were filming a movie (The Incredible Burt Wonderstone). This particular scene included Jim Carrey, Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi, and Jay Mohr!
